Better connectors are the lever that push Ascent power cables to the next performance plateau. Power cords are the foundation of overall system performance.

PK14’s 14 AWG / 2.08mm2 pure copper conductors are rated to exceed the typical 15amp outlet rating. Current delivery is only part of the equation.

We also utilize neutral colored, virgin dielectric materials to ensure and maintain conductor purity.

Great materials coupled with Wattgate Audio Grade evolution series connectors combine to deliver a more robust and more reliable power cord to serve all your sources.

Your audio and video components never had it so good. The PK14 feature our specially optimized copper and our chroma free conductor dielectric. In combination with our Wattgate economy connectors, these ultra quiet cables allow for unlimited dynamics, toe tapping rhythmic articulation, and exceptional low level resolution.

The gold version of PowerKord™ 14 Evo comes with the Wattgate™ Audio Grade™ 350 Evo IEC and 390 Evo Shuko plug. The PK14 Evo Gold™, PK14 Evo Rh™, offer the additional advantages of the Wattgate™ 350 Evo Audio Grade® IEC and 390 evo Shuko plugs. These connectors offer the high performance three layer conductive surface plating. An increase of speed in the bass and improved smoothness in the treble is realized with the PK14 Evo Gold/Rh™ PowerKords™.

The notion of power cables offering improved system performance has become a hotly debated topic. The interaction between a power cable and a component has often been misunderstood or dismissed. Research and experience have shown us that this interaction should not be underestimated. A power cord has direct correlation to the musical signal.
